Podverse is a Chrome extension that lets you create and share podcast clips while you listen. Free features include CarPlay, subscribing to podcasts, auto-downloading episodes, video and livestream playback, a drag-and-drop queue, Boostgrams (V4V), Streaming Value (V4V), Podcasting 2.0 chapters and transcripts, cross-app comments, and screen-reader accessibility.

Premium features add cross-device syncing for subscriptions, queue, and history, plus new episode and livestream notifications, clip and playlist creation, and a customizable profile. All Podverse software is free and open source under AGPLv3.

Works ok. Latency starting up and it won’t work on CarPlay unless you unlock your phone. Kind of defeats the purpose of CarPlay. I have to pick up my phone and interact with it if I want to use the app in CarPlay.
