Nippon Colors is a carefully curated collection of traditional Japanese colors historically used in literature, kimono textiles, painting, and crafts. These colors reflect seasonal aesthetics and cultural sensibilities, with many names rooted in nature—plants, flowers, minerals, and animals—spanning eras from the Asuka and Heian periods to Edo and Meiji, and often influenced by classical Chinese color systems.

The extension also features Saizō, an AI-powered Color Atelier that transforms your personal photos into Japanese-style artworks using authentic traditional hues. Your images are securely processed and all data is deleted after each generation session. Quick gestures let you explore: swipe to switch colors, double-tap to add a color to your Palette, and swipe up or long-press to access the main menu to browse all Nippon Colors, manage Palettes, and enter the Color Atelier.
