User Reviews

User reviews show Reklaim (formerly Killi) was praised for easy, quick rewards and flexible redemption in the past, with fast payouts and gift-card options. However, many reviews coalesce around major recent downsides: a shift to a jackpot-only model with no guaranteed cash-outs, points being wiped or auto-entered without consent, and growing data-privacy concerns. Added complaints include app instability and perceptions of unethical practices. Overall sentiment is mixed, with strong negative feedback centering on changes and data-use, outweighing earlier positive experiences.
Pros
  • Easy money and rewards are straightforward to earn by using the app and sharing data
  • Fast payouts when available (e.g., quick point-to-cash or gift card redemptions, including PayPal)
  • Historically broad redemption options (gift cards, cash) that appealed to users before changes
  • Overall positive sentiment from long-time users who found the app valuable for earning rewards
Cons
  • Transition to a jackpot-only system in January 2026: no more cash-outs and winnings are lottery-based with low odds
  • Points disappearing or being auto-entered into jackpots without user consent, effectively eroding earned rewards
  • Significant data-privacy concerns: perceptions that user data is harvested or sold for rewards
  • App reliability issues: loading problems, freezes, and “doom loop” experiences that hinder claiming rewards
  • Allegations of shady practices or scams (e.g., accounts being blocked or threatened) and general distrust among some users

Used to be a great app and you could actually redeem your points for cash or gift cards but since January they changed it and you can’t even redeem anything they just points in the stupid jackpot knowing not everyone will have a chance of being picked for the draw which is unfair definitely not using the app anymore after this.

I used to love this app. it was so easy to earn points weekly, and to actually exchange them for an actual reward(gift cards), as advertised. Out of nowhere, w/ no advance notice to where we could cash in our points(in exchange for selling you our data)to still get an ACTUAL reward(which is the whole point of even having this app)… they change the whole entire thing, and all the points you had accumulated for $ rewards now mean nothing and can be exchanged for nothing. Essentially, any money you had in your account that you earned from SELLING this app your data, they took back. Now, the only thing you can do is use your points to enter a raffle giveaway. This is the Caden app experience all over again. Why did the developers of this app all of a sudden decide they want to keep collecting peoples data but without reimbursing them? Especially when none of us would have downloaded the app and agreed to “sell” our data if we were not actually being rewarded for it. I’m not sure how developers can legally get away with advertising an app promising actual $ rewards in exchange for users data, and then take the $ rewards people had already earned OUT OF THEIR ACCOUNT. Didn’t even have the common decency to allow us to cash in our earned reward $ one last time before changing the whole system, which honestly defeats the whole purpose of having an app like this. I’m beginning to think that developers like you are making apps like this intentionally, and once you’ve acquired millions of users data, purposely switching the reward system over so that you can try to continue collecting people’s data without having to pay them for it, or pay them for the data you already acquired. When I downloaded this app I agreed to SELL you my data in exchange for A REAL REWARD. I have upheld my end of the agreement, the developers of this app have not. If you were going to switch to only “rewarding” us for our data with entries to a raffle, you should have asked us to agree or not, like we did when we downloaded this app to begin with. On the plus side- now that you have ruined this app and screwed everyone over, no one will ever download another app developed by you again (if you ever even make it that far, which is doubtful considering you aren’t even competent enough to keep up with the one you already have). I had almost $30 in my account ready to cash out, that I had earned from SELLING you my data. I’m going to be reporting the app to the App Store for fraud, and I hope y’all are proud of yourselves- you just lost all of your customers. You guys must have partnered up with the scam snakes of the Caden app, because you guys have only turned out to be an immense failure.

You used to be able to redeem your points for gift cards and PayPal. Now in their new update, they removed all of that. Points are basically useless. You can’t redeem them for anything. You can only use them to enter lottery events. This means you sell your data with no guarantee that you will be rewarded.
