You match with someone, get to talk with them and call them. Each day you get 1 free token to call the person you’re interested in, however, extending the call may cost gems. But that’s okay because the free token makes up for that. I wish there were more filter options though. Overall, it’s a cool app that auto-translates your call so you don’t have to be afraid to speak to someone from another country! So far, I’ve made many new friends to learn Korean from!

This app has great potential. I like that it does live translation during a call or even during text chats. But the problem is, this is a connecting app and you can’t do much connecting if you don’t buy a subscription. What’s the point of connecting with people if it’s just a short conversation and then you can’t even talk to them again or chat if you don’t have enough gems or a subscription. It defeats the purpose of trying to make meaningful connection and meet people. Mind you there’s not a way to get enough gems outside of paying for them. I have been avoiding calls due to the fact that I know, even if the call goes well, I won’t be able to talk to them again because I don’t have the gems or subscription to do so… I want to connect with people but the high pricing makes it impossible for the less fortunate to do any of that. The most I can do is send a limited amount of hi’s to people each day, waiting for a match. And then wait for someone to actively text me in order to chat with them.
