User Reviews

Most reviews are negative for Orion Mobile Workforce, centering on usability, reliability, and design flaws. Repeated criticisms include a hard-to-use interface, frequent login and reliability issues, slow performance, and readability problems due to color choices. Several reviewers also note a lack of adequate training or support and inconsistent documentation. A small number of comments mention some functional value (e.g., OT signup and calendar notices), but overall sentiment is strongly against the app across multiple departments.

Pros

Cons

Poor usability and user experience: described as un-user-friendly, non-intuitive, and difficult to navigate across functions like trades, swaps, and overtime.
Frequent login/authentication issues and errors, including post-update login failures and generic login prompts.
Performance and reliability problems: slow loading, bugs, and overall instability affecting both mobile and desktop versions.
Visual design and readability issues: color contrast problems, night mode readability concerns, and inconsistent or unreadable UI elements.
Lack of training, support, and adequate documentation: limited guidance, inconsistent information, and reliance on staffing officers for verification.

This really is a terrible program, this app would be bad in the 90s let alone in 2022.

Love the ability to signup for OT using this app. That, plus getting my court notices and seeing them on my calendar really helps. It took some of our older agency users a bit to get used to it. But I can’t live without it now!
