User Reviews

Grimvalor on iOS is celebrated as a premium-feel mobile action RPG that delivers solid value, fast-paced combat, and strong replayability. Reviewers praise its responsive controls, challenging bosses, and rich visuals across devices, with a nostalgic nod to classic titles. The main critiques center on a relatively sparse endgame and a few punishing mechanics that some players find frustrating, plus a desire for additional content (DLC or new acts). Overall, it’s regarded as one of the better mobile hack-and-slash experiences.
Pros
  • Excellent value for money with a fair price and no pay-to-win monetization.
  • Fluid, responsive combat and movement with satisfying boss fights and deep combat depth.
  • High replayability thanks to NG+, diverse equipment, and per-run variety.
  • Stunning visuals and performance on iPhone devices and Vision Pro.
  • Nostalgic vibe that recalls classic titles like Swordigo, Castlevania, and Souls-like games.
Cons
  • Limited post-game content; players repeatedly ask for new acts, DLC, or additional levels.
  • Some players find certain mechanics punishing or frustrating and difficult to master (for example suspended circles and off-screen hits).
