TYPE S Drive

I keep having connection issues in the app that takes me back to the setup screen in the app and then never lets me set my camera back up. Then randomly it will be connected again. And then it won’t. This app needs a major overhaul.

I am extremely disappointed with this dash cam and the TYPE S Drive app. Today, another car almost hit me while I was driving, and when I went to check the footage afterward, I discovered that absolutely NOTHING had been recorded. The video gallery was completely empty. This is exactly the kind of situation I bought a dash cam for, and when I actually needed it, it failed me. I later tested the camera again and was able to manually record and save a video, which makes it even more frustrating because there was no clear warning that it had not been recording during my drive. A dash cam should automatically and reliably record every time you drive without requiring you to constantly check whether it is working. If an accident had actually happened today, I could have been left with no video evidence at all. A dash cam that cannot be trusted to record when you need it is basically useless. I would not trust this product again and definitely would not recommend it.
