Overview

Features & Capabilities

NOMO CAM replaces NOMO, but stays true to helping casual photographers focus on capturing moments rather than endless post-production. Tap the Camera and Shop to access authentic cameras you can purchase and use. After taking a photo, random analog presets such as grains, dust, light leaks, vignette, sharpening, frames, and more are added automatically, recreating the feel of a real 35mm film shot. Try the double exposure feature for creative two-photo blends and surprising results.

With NOMO PRO, new cameras unlock and pro tools become available, including importing photos and turning off film development times, plus exclusive future cameras. The page also covers subscription details: a 1-year membership, USD 24.99, auto-renewal, and account management options, with privacy terms linked in the policy.

User Reviews

Reviewers praise NOMO CAM for its large library of cameras and its long-standing, creative use for capturing memories with friends and family. However, feedback centers on instability and ongoing maintenance problems: the app frequently crashes or won’t open after updates, undermining years of use. The shift to a subscription-only model and issues with transferring licenses across devices frustrate many users, especially those who don’t want ongoing payments. Several reviews also note a lack of updates and slow bug fixes, with some calling for better support and more regular content releases.
Pros
  • Extensive catalog of cameras and simulations to choose from.
  • Long-standing app used by many for years, with loyal users.
  • Creative tool that helps capture memories with friends and family.
  • Positive reception of the app's camera capabilities and output quality.
Cons
  • Frequent crashes and the app won’t open after updates.
  • Subscription-only pricing; users dislike ongoing payments and prefer a one-time purchase.
  • Issues transferring or validating the subscription across devices/phone numbers.
  • Lack of updates and maintenance; slow bug fixes and occasional promotional content.

if you take photos with pro cameras, be prepared to pay for another entire year to access the photos taken. App cant be bothered to automatically save them to my camera roll either, have to share every one individually.

Some of the cameras take really great photos. It’s fun being able to use retro point and shoots. The colors are nice, the effects to simulate old photos. Unfortunately what is offered vs the subscription price is too mismatched. Other apps can do similar things and have large photo editing capabilities, all for a much lower price. It would be nicer to just buy the camera and still have the “membership features” of importing a photo or turn off delay, keep original. Or buying the lifetime pro membership. This feels like a $5 per year or $25 lifetime kind of app.
