SELPHY Photo Layout is a companion app that lets you save and apply image layouts for printing with SELPHY printers using photos from your smartphone or tablet. It supports wireless connection to Canon SELPHY CP and QX series and prints directly from the Photos menu.

Choose from layouts such as Photos, Collage, ID Photo, Shuffle, Custom Size and Tiling, and decorate your layouts with stamps, text, borders, and embedded QR codes. It supports JPEG, PNG, and HEIF, multiple paper sizes, and runs on iOS/iPadOS 17/18. Note: Canon PRINT may be required for some CP models; availability varies by region.

Recent reviews

The Selphy line of printers from Canon allow me to print high quality photos from my digital range finder and my iPhone, closing the loop on photography and sharing the images in tangible way that we've almost forgotten about in the online era.

App prints well, so that’s good, but it is slow and clunky at navigating large photo libraries, and they don’t seem to support iOS share sheet functionality, nor shortcuts, so rather than being able to print from the Photos app, you have to use their app. Older versions of this supported Apple shortcuts, so I hope they reintroduce that support. Also, when you load the list of albums, there is no apparent sort order -it’s neither alphabetical nor chronological, and you can’t search for an album name. Do they actually test this app with real users with real photo libraries that go back decades?
