This is a fantastic app but notifications for iOS 13.6.1 are not working when sending from an Android phone. Safety updates require you to refresh each time for new information and I get nothing from maydays until I actually go into the app on iOS. So if the app is closed - nothing. I have location set for only when using the app on both phones. There’s a lot of potential here but it’s practically useless if the notifications don’t work. I was also under the impression that the mapping and messaging system was internal. I’m a bit disappointed that it has to go through google maps on an Android device. Anything good seems to be in the paid version. You should be able to coordinate a crisis with your family as well as you can with a school.

App worked as described when we first downloaded it. After a few months it became apparent my wife and I no longer receive alerts from the app. We have both deleted and re-downloaded the app with no resolution to the issue. I have decided to delete the app as we are now several months in to the app not functioning. I like the idea of this app. Since the intent would be to trust my family’s safety on this app even one failure is unacceptable.
