Features & Capabilities

Be someone you're proud of.

This app is meant to help people live happier, healthier, and more content lives through encouragement of personal growth, and service to others.

No emails, passwords, streaks, chains, or bugging you with reminders.

How does it work? No Zero days is a very simple app. It does almost nothing. You can mark an activity as complete for a day simply by tapping a category box. If you press and hold a box, you can add a note for that category for that day.

Scroll up and down to see the past few weeks, and scroll all the way up to see some basic stats and visualizations of the last 30 days.

Press and hold the logo to access settings.

That’s it - no zero days does nothing else. It is meant to simply join your day to day routine and help you remember to take at least one action each day that helps yourself or others. Easy right?

User Reviews

This is perfect if you’re looking for something to log your daily progress. It’s great for fans of “Atomic Habits” (by James Clear). Helpful Tip: If you long-press on the title “NoZeroDays” inside the app, you can open a settings page to change the category titles. Feature Request: I’d love to see functionality added for the “widgets” feature in iOS. Would be nice to see what I’ve done today with a glance.

I love the concept, but I’m unable to appreciate the app due to bugs. For instance, when I create a custom note and attempt to then view it by clicking the post-it note icon in the GUI, it either goes to the “Created” note tab or, if I do the same in the lifeline page for the category in question, I have to wrestle with the touch interface to drag the note into view. In spite of what the developer has said in this review section about being able to hold down the “created/learned/helped/health” category tiles to customize them, I could not do so. Instead, holding down those tile buttons brought up a menu to add a custom note. I even tried holding down the header of this custom note menu (which has one of the four categories as it’s title) and I could not make it editable. Anyway, this is a good app if you’re willing to take the categories as given. However, I wanted the parameters of my non-zero day project to be a little less abstract and more tied to specific changes I’m trying to make. Perhaps my complaints are only relevant on iOS? I am not sure. In any case, the app can’t be made to do what I desire. If you want to fit into the dev’s “box” however, it’s not a terrible set of four categories if you don’t mind how abstract tracking instances of “helped/created/learned/health” is.
