Let's Roam: Scavenger Hunts

As soon as I opened the app, it started asking me to buy more tickets. I hadn’t even begun to head for the area we were going to start in and it was asking me to buy more tickets. And then it would ask for a rating every time I change screens. It honestly could use a little more accuracy on the locations but overall it was a lot of fun and a great way to explore the area you are headed to or find yourself in. It appears the only way I’m going to be able to turn it completely off. Is to remove it because it’ll be a while before I use it again.

First, the app is terrible. Hard to find where you are supposed to go. For many of the questions you are supposed to answer, half of the words are cut off. Starting place was a made up address. It took us 45 minutes to actually get started and the first stop was a store. Why? One of the stops was permanently closed and looked like it had been for a while. I think you get the idea. I gave it one extra star because we did it with my 7 year old grandson and he had fun, although I will take credit for a lot of that because we were enthusiastic and I brought prizes.
