Features & Capabilities

PokeKeys was a pioneering Chrome extension designed as a Pokémon GO companion, delivering live PvP and IV calculations with a keyboard-embedded IV checker and no-screenshot IV verification. It also offered in-game filtering based on scan history and an integrated PvP analyzer.

Legacy features included multiple keyboard layouts (English, numeric, symbols, and custom layouts), predefined replacements for keywords, monster names, and attacks, as well as powerful editors for IV search and raid-counter queries. The project is discontinued; Pokémon is a trademark of Nintendo, and this is a fan-made, unofficial tool.

User Reviews

Users praise PokeKeys as a feature-rich toolkit for Pokemon GO with strong customization and GO-specific keyboard integration, and it is valued for remote raiding and inventory tasks. However, many reviews highlight long neglect and outdated data, iOS compatibility problems, lack of support for newer Pokémon, flaky live IV/appraisal features, and confusing UI changes. Overall, it works well when functional, but persistent updates, compatibility, and reliability issues drive users toward alternatives like PokéGenie.
Pros
  • Feature-rich toolkit for Pokémon GO, including searching, IVs, naming, inventory management, and support for remote raiding.
  • Strong customization options and more features than similar keyboards like Pokegenie.
  • Useful and free, with solid GO-specific keyboard integration that many users rely on.
  • Helpful for remote raiding and efficiency in GO-related tasks.
Cons
  • Long neglect: last updates years ago, with developer reportedly paused due to Ukraine; newer Pokémon not covered.
  • iOS issues: keyboard won’t appear or works inconsistently, with permissions and UI glitches.
  • New Pokémon not recognized or IVs not available for recent additions.
  • Live IV checker, appraisals, and notifications are unreliable or broken.
  • UI/UX regressions: interface changes remove familiar features or are less intuitive.

What a great tool for Pokemon go. It helps with trading, pvp, searching, cleaning inventory, and so much more. One day I hope I can import/export shortcuts, that would be a game changer!!

Hello Developer, This app has been great, but sometimes it can’t pull up the stats from the screen. It has had trouble doing that to tapu lele and others. Idk if that’s a Pokémon specific issue, but please fix it soon.
