User Reviews

Users praise the app for its extensive question bank with detailed rationales and the availability of full-size mock board exams and case studies, and many say it helped them pass the NBDHE while being affordable. However, recurring problems dominate reviews: frequent buggy updates that crash the app and erase progress; poor content organization (ebook as a PDF, hard to navigate, lack of note-taking, no pause/resume); repetitive 50-question quizzes with little variation; accuracy issues (wrong/counterintuitive answers, typos, conflicting rationales); and platform/access hassles (iPad/iOS compatibility, login requirements, occasional inaccessibility). Overall, solid potential hampered by reliability and UX issues.
Pros
  • Rationales after every question
  • Full-size mock exams including PM portion
  • Case studies included
  • Large question bank across subjects
  • Affordable and helpful for board prep
Cons
  • Frequent app updates cause crashes and loss of progress
  • Poor organization: ebook is a PDF, hard to navigate, no pause/resume, no easy note-taking
  • 50-question quizzes repeat questions; lack variety
  • Some questions have wrong answers or typos with conflicting rationales
  • Platform/compatibility issues on iPad/iOS and intermittent access problems

Asks about stuff that’s not on the exam. Some questions asked multiple times but a different answer each time so it’s confusing the information learned. For example one question says the anterior 2/3 of the tongue is innervated by the trigeminal nerve then another question says it’s innervated by the facial nerve. The lectures are nice though and I like the book but this app just confuses you with the questions instead of help. Better to use Quizlet.

Many of the practice questions were incorrect, and rationales basically just said “this is right because the other answers are wrong” which was not the most helpful. Although having all the material in one spot was helpful, the inconsistency made studying hard and led to a lot of second guessing.
