Features & Capabilities

Myro:Home for Leviton/HAI integrates Leviton/HAI controllers with modern iOS capabilities, offering remote access and a customizable UI. It supports climate, lighting, security, cameras, messages, and more, with favorites and recents for quick access, plus iBeacon and location-triggered automations.

Security and privacy are prioritized: data stays on-device with encrypted communication to controllers; no cloud data is stored. A Mac companion, Myro:Home Helper, adds optional push notifications and HomeKit exposure for expanded control.

User Reviews

User reviews consistently praise Myro:Home as a modern, feature-rich replacement for Haiku/Leviton controllers with solid HomeKit/Apple Watch integration and active development. The main drawbacks are its high subscription cost, intermittent connectivity issues (WiFi and cellular), mixed support experiences, and occasional bugs during syncing. Overall, it’s valued for extending OmniPro/HAI capabilities, but many want a more affordable pricing model and improved network reliability.
Pros
  • Modern, feature-rich replacement for Haiku/Leviton/HAI controllers with robust control over OmniPro/HAI.
  • Strong Apple ecosystem integration, including HomeKit and Apple Watch support, with an intuitive iOS interface.
  • Active, responsive developer with frequent updates and generally strong support.
  • Easy setup and reliable operation, including automatic retrieval of system configuration from OmniPro.
Cons
  • High subscription cost; many reviewers feel the price is too expensive for ongoing use.
  • Connectivity reliability concerns, including WiFi dropouts and reports that remote cellular access can be unreliable.
  • Mixed support experiences, with some users praising responsiveness while others report slow or no-ticket responses.
  • Occasional bugs or performance quirks (e.g., UI sizing issues, sync timeouts on large configurations).

I subscribed to this app for years. But dropped due to high cost and fee updates in 10 years. Nothing really new. It’s good and reliable , no question, but very much expensive. I can do all that this app does and more with Home Assistant. So why pay such an exorbitant fee. If it were half the current yearly fee I would subscription to support the project.

I’ve been using this app for many years and have been very please. Until very recently. The app has been disconnecting from my WIFI network and it takes forever to reconnect. Wattup?

I have plenty of subscriptions to different apps but none as expensive as this one. It’s a great app but not worth the month’s cost. Really wish it were cheaper because I’d be a consistent subscriber. Just not worth it for the 3-4 time it gets used every month. Space works just fine for everything I need even though this app is far better. There’s just way better value for the price from other apps and services. I’ve moved on and got a raspberry pi running Homebridge and the HAI plugin. The plugin is very well written, and I’ve contributed to his work. Much better solution that allows me to share control of the HAI system with everyone in the house without having to pay for multiple subscriptions. Handles things like garage doors so much better.
