I can hear normally again!

* I go into the Phonak app and mute my hearing aids * Then put my iPhone on silent and turn down the volume all the way * Then open a website on my phone that has some sound that automatically plays and I hear this static background noise * If I quickly open the Phonak app I can see the program automatically switched to streaming music, so it overrides the previously set mute in the app. * My audiologist tells me the Phonak mute is “Hot garbage” and has never worked correctly

Trying to create an environment I’m usually in to save is so frustrating and difficult. WHY DOES IT KEEP DISCONNECTING WHILE I TRY TO CREATE A PROGRAM TO SAVE THAT I CAN USE EVERY DAY?!!!!!!!
