CONTROL YOUR QISTA MOSQUITO TRAP THROUGH THE APPLICATION • First of all, make sure you have a lure cartridge and a CO₂ bottle required for your trap to operate properly. • Take control of your trap network and schedule your mosquito trap according to the time slots recommended by our biologists. We recommend using the saved “common mosquito” or “tiger mosquito” programs. • Control your traps individually or in groups. • Check the status of your consumables and update their levels after each replacement. • View capture statistics for each of your traps as well as a detailed history. (only available for selected devices)

WHY QISTA? In addition to traditional mosquitoes that have been disturbing our outdoor moments for centuries, we are seeing more and more invasive species, especially tiger mosquitoes, capable of transmitting viral diseases such as Zika, Dengue, and Malaria, increasing concerns about mosquito bites. Today, against the proliferation of mosquitoes and the exponential increase in bites, Qista offers an innovative, intelligent, and environmentally friendly solution that is safe for humans.

HOW DOES THE QISTA SOLUTION WORK? Each female mosquito can lay up to 200 eggs every 48 hours and needs blood to mature them. That is why female mosquitoes bite. Capturing these female mosquitoes searching for prey both prevents bites and breaks their reproduction cycle. This reduces the number of mosquitoes present in the protected area and therefore the number of bites. Independent scientific studies demonstrate an 88% reduction in mosquito bites within a 60-meter radius around Qista traps. Human breathing and certain molecules produced by the body of humans and other mammals are the mosquito’s primary attractants. Based on a prey imitation principle, the Qista mosquito control solution simulates human presence to attract and trap female mosquitoes. To achieve this, the trap regularly releases a combination of olfactory lures and recycled CO₂, just like humans do when breathing. Once the female mosquito is attracted close enough to the device, it is sucked into and captured inside the trap.
