Users like the app for its broad Igbo content and strong pronunciation tools, plus the word/phrase of the day feature. However, they frequently run into issues: purchases and upgrades not being honored after updates, poor or missing customer support, audio playback problems (no sound, very soft volume, or crashes), and compatibility problems with newer iOS releases. Many also miss features from older versions (full dictionary quizzes, audiobook playback) and notice gaps in Phrase/Day content and navigation. Overall, it's a useful language-learning tool but buggy and inconsistent.

In-app purchases are not honored and customer support is unresponsive.
Audio playback problems: no audio, very low volume, or crashes when trying to hear words.

Recent reviews

I’ve had this app for many, many years. I appreciate the overhaul they made to make it more comprehensive. However, I purchased the full version (and have the receipt). I attempted to restore that purchase after their major change, but it refuses to recognize I previously purchased the full. Moreover, the company will not respond (bounces back). May be better and less difficult if you purchase from a reputable company.

All of my in-app upgrades haven’t been honored since the OS upgrades. I tried to contact customer service and I get error messages. Only buy this if you enjoy throwing money away.
