User Reviews

Galileo offers strong clinical care and convenient virtual access, with helpful staff and generally easy scheduling. However, widespread slow responses, inconsistent clinicians, rising prices, and app/processing friction undermine reliability and value for many users. The service remains attractive for insured users needing remote care, but its consistency, transparency, and digital experience are ongoing pain points.
Pros
  • High-quality, attentive providers who listen, address concerns, and follow up.
  • Convenient access to care from home, including 24/7 urgent care, primary care, mental health support, and remote prescriptions.
  • Helpful, responsive support staff who assist with insurance navigation, prior authorizations, and billing (e.g., Hilary/Charlotte).
  • Easy appointment scheduling and generally easy app experience when the system works.
Cons
  • Slow response times and long turnaround for replies and care.
  • Inconsistent providers and lack of continuity, with frequent changes and some poor advice.
  • Rising costs and opaque billing, including subscription increases and per-visit fees.
  • App/technical issues such as sign-in errors, 404 support pages, and notification problems.
  • Refill and prescription workflows that are slow or require multiple steps.

Bizarre, confusing interface where you can’t request appointments and no one replies to you despite an allegedly always-on infrastructure. It almost feels like a data-gathering expedition and I regret providing personal, health information to an app that is unresponsive to patient needs.

I’ve used virtual health for a while and had to switch to this service because of my health plan. I’m not really impressed. It’s always a new clinician so even if you have a chronic condition, you have to go over the basics every time. They don’t know your history. They are always friendly though. Good luck getting a timely response. It took three weeks of back and forth to get a simple referral to a specialist. Even the specialist said they had to go back and forth with them several times. There are definitely more attentive virtual health options out there.
