User reviews are overwhelmingly negative about the Schluter Ditra-Heat E-WiFi app. The most repeated issues are login/authentication problems, reliability and performance problems (slow linking, crashes, device sync issues), and a confusing, under-detailed user interface. Users also report missing features (away/hold modes, group control) and inconsistent scheduling behavior (changes not saving, schedules reverting). A small subset report easy setup and basic functionality, but overall the app lags behind modern expectations and documentation.

Recent reviews

the mobile app has less functionality than the thermostat display and has some annoying bugs, like the energy charts show use long before the ditra heat was even installed (???!!!). IMO - a very poor app overall, a marketing gimmick, which clearly does not justify the extra premium of wifi enabled thermostats. If i had to buy a schluter thermostat again, i would go with a non-wifi version and save a few $$.

This app is barely a high school sophomore experiment, and that is insulting to high schoolers. As many others have mentioned, it lacks the most basic requirements, such as master on / off, vacation program, accurate temp display, etc… The heating cables themselves work fine but this app really takes the whole experience down several levels
