This is the app you use to manage content on a Komp. Komp is a one-button screen enabling seniors to stay connected with their family. Komp is tailored for seniors with limited digital skills and decreased eyesight, hearing or physical functioning. The senior only has to switch it on or off. Family or friends take care of the rest from this app.

When you open the app, you have to enter the Komp keyword. If this is the first time starting Komp, the keyword will be visible on the screen. You will have to be nearby Komp to configure it. If Komp is already configured, you will have to be invited to get access to it.

You can use this app to send photos, text messages, and start video calls.

This tool has allowed me to connect with my mom in a way that has not been possible for years. I feel part of her life now.

My brother recently installed this for our elderly mother who has memory loss issues and can no longer use her iPad or her mobile phone. She lives in a care home and we have been reliant on calling the staff who take the unit phone to her. With Komp we are now independent, able to contact her and see each other on screen whenever we want, the video call connects automatically and my mother does not need to press any buttons! I live abroad and she has not been able to see my children for more than a year in person, but now she loves seeing them on the screen. The sound and vision quality is great and it’s an added bonus to be able to send her photos and messages that appear on her screen. Would be great for anyone needing to remind elderly parents to take their medicine for example. Thank you Komp!!
