User Reviews

RA Monitor is valued for its comprehensive tracking and doctor-ready history, but its usefulness is hampered by tedious joint logging, reliability bugs, limited report/export options, and privacy/login concerns. Users want multi-joint logging, more robust reporting, and fewer sign-in hurdles.
Pros
  • Robust joint-by-joint symptom tracking with intensity levels and flare details, creating a long-term history for patients and doctors.
  • Easy daily logging interface with checkboxes and a body-part mapping for quick entry.
  • Medications, mood, notes, and access to patient/provider resources within the app.
  • Useful for sharing data with rheumatologists and generating reports for appointments.
  • Helps users identify patterns and progress over time, including the impact of dietary changes or treatments.
Cons
  • Tedious data entry since you must log many joints individually; users want group/multi-joint logging.
  • Recurring reliability issues including crashes, freezes, and occasional data loss.
  • Limited reporting/export options (no straightforward PDF export) and lack of back-dating/editing past days.
  • Privacy/login friction (some reviews mention needing a Facebook account or concerns about sharing personal data).

I am new to having RA and it is seronegative RA so this app is becoming helpful to me and showing me patterns. It’s so easy to use. The one downside is I wish it gave an option to say I have a rheumatologist but don’t want to link up at this time, because if you don’t link it up then it assigns you a provider. So I have to just push the appointment as far out as possible because I need to ask my rheumatologist if they would be interested in linking up. And if not then I will just keep pushing it out. Otherwise this is a great tracker, and love that it even looks at the temperature, humidity, and air pressure, so over time you can figure out if those things are involved in a flare or at least an increase in symptoms.
