SpaceIQ shows progress in recent updates, with some users able to check in and reservations working in newer versions. However, most reviews highlight stability and UX issues: crashes during booking, long load times, and inconsistent performance; confusing floor-plan navigation and difficulty creating recurring bookings; and verification issues that block access. Maintenance appears ongoing and there are bright spots, but stability and booking workflow still need significant improvement.

Pros

Recent updates have improved stability and usability.
Desk check-in and reservations work in newer versions for some users.
The app is intuitive in parts and generally usable for some tasks.
Ongoing maintenance and fixes demonstrate responsiveness from the vendor.

Cons

Frequent crashes during desk booking or when selecting a desk, with the app quitting unexpectedly.
Very slow loading times and overall inconsistent performance (loading screens can be 1+ minute).
Poor UX for recurring bookings and floor-plan navigation (hard to locate reserved desks, zooming/panning issues, desks not numbered).
Email verification codes sometimes don’t arrive, blocking access for some users.

One of the worst apps I have to use. Claude should be able to take this out in 45 minutes of work. My company really needs to ditch this.

This app is a poster e child for the importance of hiring UX designers. To book the desk I sit at Every Single Day, I need to tap at least 10 times after opening the app, with pauses between some so I have to wait. It’s not that it takes all that long; I can do it while riding the elevator, it’s just so annoying that most people have given up, so there are conflicts between those who got in early and those who reserved the desk earlier. If you’re a business: don’t buy this. It will cause employee stress and conflict.
