User Reviews

Overall sentiment is highly positive: many users call it surprisingly deep and story-driven, with an addictive, hourlong appeal and good value as a one-time purchase. The strongest downsides cited are the lack of a dark mode, no save/progress persistence, and clunky mobile UI. Occasional bugs in space-age progression also surface. The game is praised for its design and writing, but these accessibility and reliability issues limit its appeal for some players.
Pros
  • Deep, story-driven idle experience with meaningful narrative beyond simple numbers.
  • Addictive and engaging; users can lose hours to it.
  • Simple, minimalist design with an authentic feel from the developers.
  • Solid value as a one-time purchase.
  • Long-lasting appeal and nostalgia for classic PC/browser origins.
Cons
  • Lacks a dark mode/theme support (repeatedly requested).
  • No save feature or progress persistence; starting over after reset or reinstall is a major frustration.
  • Mobile UI is fiddly: too many taps to interact with prices and limited resizing/scrolling compared to the browser version.
  • Occasional bugs in space-age progression (energy/clips conditions) disrupt progression.

This parasite lives in my brain and feeds me dopamine occasionally when I watch the numbers go up. The single best purchase on the AppStore I’ve made and I will stand by that until the sun collapses or is converted to paperclips.

It’s so simple, but it feels like a game for the iPhone from the days where you used to actually be able to find real games for your iPhone. Now, it’s all just ad traps. It has character and fun little things left there by the developers. Personally, it’s my favorite game. It’s not flashy, it’s not some big production non-sense circus. It’s just a good simple game that you can clearly tell the devs had a fun time making. That’s 5 stars in my book.

To understand this game you must play it under a log transform.
