User Reviews

Overall, users praise the app for its extensive algorithm library and helpful learning/visualization features, plus customization. However, recurring drawbacks include content inaccuracies or gaps for some methods, missing larger-puzzle support and features like a scrambler, limited beginner guidance, content-management limitations, and stability woes. The app excels at learning and browsing but can frustrate beginners or those seeking a polished, tutorial-like experience.
Pros
  • Extensive, diverse library of algorithms and methods across multiple puzzles (CFOP, Roux, 2x2/3x3, etc).
  • Helpful learning aid with easy-to-browse notation that reduces the need to search external tutorials.
  • Animated cube playback/visualization of algorithms and cases to aid learning.
  • High customization options and personal algorithm storage, including the ability to input your own algorithms and control playback.
Cons
  • Content inaccuracies or gaps for certain methods (e.g., Roux Y-moves, BLE/ELL, Petrus) and missing names for some algorithms.
  • Missing essential puzzles and features (no 4x4/5x5 algorithms, no cube scrambler, lack of Ortega and other methods).
  • Not beginner-friendly; lacks explanations of abbreviations and step-by-step tutorials to get started.
  • Content-management and navigation issues (inability to delete individual sessions, groups, or algorithms; disorganized sections and favorites).
  • Stability/breakage issues reported (white screen on launch or long-standing bugs in the app).

This s an amazing app to help you get better at cubing but it doesn’t have the ability to name algorithms like T perm or make note

The person doing the algorithms in this app clearly have no idea what they are doing when it comes to CMLL and Roux. There are no "y "moves in Roux. But yet there are 22 algorithms with Y moves. That massively needs to be fixed.
