VIVI VaccApp

A user-centered mobile application, VaccApp invites users to take a closer look at their vaccination status. Through dialogue with friendly avatars, users find out which diseases they are protected from.

VaccApp can be used at home or in the waiting room prior to a doctor’s visit, empowering users to become active in getting protected against vaccine preventable diseases. A ‘traffic light system’ allows users to mark aspects in their vaccination history that may be unclear to them and to seek clarification when they visit a medical professional.

The VaccApp mobile application works like the VaccApp chatbot, only that it allows to register user accounts for repeated use over time - either alone, or with the entire family.

The VaccApp mobile application provides an interface. For example, users may choose to share the VaccApp with their doctors, have a conversation about their self-generated vaccination record, and get their it verified by the professional. Reversely, doctors may invite their patients to use the VaccApp to promote literacy and patient empowerment. The idea is to deepen the doctor-patient relationship.
