I’ve had a great experience with Whappz and have made some genuine connections through the app. One thing I really enjoy is seeing events posted and being able to share travel plans or see who’s traveling through my area—it makes it feel much more connected than a typical app. I’m a premium member and feel it’s worth it for the added features. I think it does a good job, at least in the city I live, there is a fair amount of people on the application. But of course, you have the issue of people actually following through to meet. That is the difficulty part. I will say the developer is very good about making the application accessible for blind people who use VoiceOver, the screen reader in Apple products.
