User Reviews

Mario Kart Tour on iOS is widely praised for its fun, addictive racing and creative tracks, with ongoing updates and a growing character roster. However, reviewers repeatedly cite problematic touch controls and the lack of controller support, heavy monetization via gacha, connectivity issues, the requirement for a Nintendo account, and repetitive content over time. Users generally enjoy the core Mario Kart feel, but requests for improvements in controls, social features, and fresh content are common.
Pros
  • - Fun, addictive gameplay with smooth racing on mobile
  • - Creative tracks and authentic Mario Kart feel with good mobile visuals
  • - Regular updates, gifts, events, and a growing roster of characters
  • - Feels like a classic Mario Kart experience on iOS with nostalgic appeal
  • - Rewards like gifts and mystery pipes add extra motivation
Cons
  • - Poor touchscreen controls and lack of robust controller support (drifting is automatic)
  • - Heavy monetization via gacha and pay-to-win mechanics (rubies gating)
  • - Frequent connectivity/server issues leading to lost ranks and errors
  • - Mandatory Nintendo account to play can be a barrier
  • - Content can feel repetitive over time with limited new tracks or features

Been a player since 2020, going to miss this!!!

This game has been my go to for years. To see it’s going to be going away I shed a tear. I’m going to miss the late nights with my friends shooting each others balloons or the early morning races waiting for work. It feels like a little piece of my routine will be gone.
