MapleStory M: Fantasy MMORPG

The biggest problem with MapleStory M is that almost everything is based on low-probability RNG. Upgrading equipment, enhancing gear, improving stats, and many other progression systems all depend heavily on luck. When your luck is bad, you can spend a huge amount of mesos, materials, and other resources without getting the result you need. What makes it even worse is the repeated failure. Failing over and over again really affects the enjoyment and mood of playing the game. The whole point of playing a game is to have fun and relax, but this system often does the exact opposite—it makes you frustrated, disappointed, and unhappy. This makes progression feel extremely frustrating and unfair. It’s not about how much time or effort you put into the game—it often comes down to whether you get lucky with the RNG. Two players can spend the same amount of resources and end up with completely different results. There should be more guaranteed progression options or protection systems so that players can steadily improve their characters instead of constantly gambling their hard-earned resources. The game has a lot of potential, but the excessive reliance on RNG makes progression feel unfair and discouraging. At some point, it stops feeling like a game and starts feeling like a constant gamble.
