Brusfri

Brusfri is a high-end audio noise reducer with a simple, straightforward interface. It preserves sound quality by using fine-tuned gates instead of phase-cancel methods, avoiding audible side effects. It can run standalone or as an AUv3 plug-in in compatible hosts (GarageBand, etc.).

Usage is simple: learn a noise profile by feeding isolated noise for a moment, then let Brusfri silence the unwanted noise. It handles a wide range of conditions—hiss, hum, room ambiance, guitar amps, vintage gear—while keeping the original signal intact. Note that Brusfri is CPU intensive, so consider freezing or bouncing tracks when using the AUv3 plug-in.
