User Reviews

Reviews praise RingRx for HIPAA compliance and turning a personal phone into a customizable business line, with responsive support and strong relevance for private practices. However, many users report reliability problems including inconsistent call quality and outgoing call failures, SMS issues, and difficult voicemail access. App instability and slow updates worsen the experience, and support and porting processes can be slow or confusing. Overall, it works well for some practices but persistent reliability and onboarding frustrations limit its appeal for others.
Pros
  • Responsive customer support that helps users through issues.
  • HIPAA-compliant system suitable for private practices.
  • Transforms a personal phone into a customizable business line with multi-user capability.
  • Long-term, reliable partner for practices with ongoing customization and improvements.
  • Often a preferred option over Google Voice for practice use due to features and stability.
Cons
  • Unreliable call quality and outgoing call delivery; calls sometimes don’t go through or are dropped, with static noted on calls.
  • Text messaging issues including failed texts, duplicate messages, and lack of MMS/image support.
  • Frequent app crashes, bugs, and inconsistent performance with slow or sparse updates.
  • Voicemail access difficulties, including issues loading and accessing voicemail.
  • Support delays and onboarding/porting problems, such as slow responses and confusing cancellation/porting processes.

I almost give up

I’m not sure why so many negative reviews. I’ve been using this app for 5 years and if I’ve ever had a problem, I’d call support and they’d walk me through exactly what to do!

I can’t make outgoing calls. Multiple support tickets have been submitted with ZERO response. Calls forwarded from psychology today to my RingRX number go unsent. Complete garbage!
