User Reviews

Mussila Music is praised for being engaging, beginner-friendly, and educational, with solid ear training and rhythm/note practice and realistic instrument sounds. However, users frequently report limited content and unclear progression, subscription paywalls restricting access, and account/family-sharing problems across devices, plus occasional stability glitches on iPad. Overall, it’s a strong teaching tool when accessible, but pricing, content limits, and account issues are common drawbacks.
Pros
  • Engaging and kid-friendly, easy for young children to use.
  • Strong educational value with ear training, rhythm reading, and note identification.
  • Realistic instrument timbres that feel like real instruments.
  • Positive for teachers and families for co-play or classroom use.
Cons
  • Very limited content with only a few levels and unclear progression beyond early stages.
  • Content is gated behind a paid subscription; premium features require payment.
  • Account and cross-device issues (difficulty creating/retrieving accounts; family sharing not working).
  • Occasional stability issues (e.g., black screen on iPad).

Please give Mussila Music an update. Here is how it works: The first thing to do is add one more level to the learning path. It’s featuring F#/Gb, G#Ab, and A#/Bb, as well as 3 new instruments: Sitar, steel drum, and oboe. Speaking of the oboe, add it and the clarinet to instrument guessing games (Learn - levels 4-onwards, and Practice - instruments). Don’t forget to add a new song called The Itsy Bitsy Spider. Last, why don’t you sound actually like they should? Can you do that? Oh, and one more thing: add the sitar and steel drum to Loopy Tunes. Here’s a fun fact: Loopy Tunes is a play on Looney Tunes. Hope the kids enjoy the new update!!!
