User Reviews

User feedback is mixed. Many long-time users praise ease of use, reliability, motivation, and device integration. However, recurring issues include intrusive ads (with porn banners/harmful links), frequent data problems (step counts dropping or resetting to zero, missing days), and stability concerns across devices. Some users also dislike the required subscription model and discrepancies with Apple Fitness data. Overall, the app’s strengths are usability and tracking, while reliability and ad experience are the main negatives.
Pros
  • Easy to use and intuitive pedometer that helps me track activities quickly.
  • Reliable and accurate for many users with good stride calibration.
  • Motivates and provides clear progress metrics like calories burned and monthly totals.
  • Good integration with Apple Watch/Apple Fitness and can import data from other devices.
  • Offers a free version with ads and an optional paid upgrade to remove ads and unlock features.
Cons
  • Intrusive ads, including porn banners and harmful links, disrupt usage.
  • Frequent data counting problems: steps drop, resets to zero, and missing days.

Disgusting app that just began running porn banners across the bottom on the dashboard

I did over 10,000 steps today and ran a mile at the gym after an active day and none of that registered. It didn't work for me.

I’m not kidding. I’ve used this app for years and was very satisfied. Lately, it just drops hundreds of steps on numerous occasions. It’s happened too many times in the past days and weeks. Just yesterday, I walked 16,160 steps by the time I went to bed. I got up for a drink of water after Midnight and this app now said yesterday’s steps had been 15,288 steps. It had dropped me from 7.0 miles to 6.6 miles. This is just one time too many that it had pulled this stunt. If my bank did this, I’d be calling the Authorities and pulling my money out. I’m very discouraged and I AM DONE. I’m deleting this app and will download another. It was nice for years, but I’m out of here. Buh-Bye!
