User Reviews

Clock and Almanac is a feature-rich world clock with weather and calendar data for multiple cities, praised for its travel usefulness and information density, and appreciated for its attractive UI and free access. However, users repeatedly report usability gaps in managing locations, occasional time accuracy issues (no UTC, DST offsets), weak map quality, calendar gaps (Hebrew bug, missing Ethiopian calendar), and lack of iPhone widgets. Addressing these would greatly improve the experience for international users.

Pros

Multi-city time and weather tracking with easy comparison.
Rich, varied information beyond a basic clock (calendar, time zones, events).
Travel-friendly tool with reliable performance.
Beautiful, intuitive interface and ease of use.
Free and feature-rich with no paywall.

Cons

Location management limitations: cannot delete or reorder top locations; top city sometimes fixed when location services are off.
Time accuracy issues: lack of UTC support and occasional DST/time offset inaccuracies.
World/map quality is subpar and not easily readable without zoom.
Calendar support gaps: Hebrew calendar errors, missing Ethiopian calendar and other calendar options.
Lack of iPhone widgets and limited widget support.
