User Reviews

Skullgirls: Fighting RPG is praised for its engaging combat and standout character designs, with a loyal, community‑minded fanbase. Recurring downsides across reviews include glitches in key modes, perceived unfair relic loot, punishing AI that can make battles frustrating, monetization pressure to upgrade, and the recent shift to ads. Addressing these issues while preserving the game’s strengths could improve the experience for players.
Pros
  • Engaging core fighting gameplay with attractive art/design.
  • Long-term appeal with a loyal, community‑minded player base and developers who seem to care about players.
  • Strong character designs and roster with broad visual appeal.
  • Content variety and modes (e.g., guilds) and a vibe influenced by classic fighters.
Cons
  • Frequent glitches/bugs affecting key features (e.g., recruit character issues and parallel realms loading/team display problems).
  • Unfair or low loot drops from relics/loot systems (headliner relics not yielding gold/diamond after many opens).
  • Overly challenging or unbalanced AI leading to punishing or unplayable battles (e.g., Master Peacock AI and AI combos).
  • Progression monetization friction (high costs to upgrade to Diamond; desire for easier paths and better rewards).
  • Ads integration impacting user experience (shift from ad-free to incorporating ads).

I have been playing this game for about two years by now and it is really fun and addictive the only thing I dislike it that there is no story mode for my goat fukua💔 but I understand it takes a long time to make story modes so i am grateful for the ones we do have❤️‍🩹 other than that this game is perfect 🤩

Game is in the weirdest most broken state I just launched an undying fight or whatever the clan boss fight is and it showed my first character and nothing else no options to change fighters or anything and I wouldn’t let me press the home or back buttons. I’ve heard about the company that handles this game being a bunch of morons and apparently it’s true there isn’t an update where multiple character ability’s are broken and just don’t even do anything. If I’ve spent the time/in game currency/ real money to get a gold/diamond I expect them to out perform the bronze and silvers but having no ability makes it way way worse Edit: maybe a day or two after this it just straight up black screened when I go to look at my fighters
