Overview

Features & Capabilities

Measure - AR uses your iPhone camera with AR to measure lengths precisely. No ruler? No problem—bring AR technology into your life and measure objects on the go.

Common use cases include checking furniture fit in a room, estimating box dimensions, and tracking a child’s height. ARKit improvements deliver higher precision than many apps, letting you experience a real ruler appearing in your space and measure quickly and accurately anywhere.

User Reviews

User reviews mostly converge on readability and reliability issues. The app often produces readable measurements only when visible; most users report unreadable, tiny text due to small font and white color, and several note no effective zoom. Accuracy is inconsistent, with some distances far off from real measurements. A few users praise the app’s ease of use and its promising concept, but many caution that features are limited or locked behind ads, and that older devices and OS versions struggle to run it. Overall, it shows potential but needs UI readability and measurement improvements.
Pros
  • Fast recognition of space/measurements in basic tests.
  • Easy to use interface overall.
  • Promising foundation with potential for future development and more features.
  • Some users report overall positive sentiment and satisfaction when the app works.
Cons
  • Readability/visibility of measurements is severely impaired due to very small font size and light/white text, making measurements unreadable on most devices.
  • Measurements can be inaccurate or inconsistent in real-world use (distances differ from actual).
  • Limited accessibility controls; zoom options are ineffective or insufficient for reading measurements.
  • Compatibility and OS-update issues on older devices (e.g., older iPhones) and update requirements hinder usage.
Recent reviews
I wish I could give a zero star rating. After downloading the app, it directed me to setup an account. For "identity verification purposes", it prompted for a credit card and stated there would be $0.00 charge(s). Several moments later I received a fraud alert from my bank that they declined a charge for $34.79 from an entity called "611EMMERIC*FERIKIE". Now I have to wait a week or longer to receive a new card and review all my autopayments. If Apple would like them, I will happily email screenshots of the entire incident.

You can’t read the ruler once the measurement is taken - deleted it immediately!
