The remote control and monitoring APP DASlink™ of the Altea/Vantec series allows users to wirelessly stream music from mobile devices in high-definition stereo and to control DSP parameters.

DASlink allows the user also to modify the different parameters of the system DSP such as:

Master Gain System Presets 3-Band EQ HPF Delay System Options

Users can control the system while sending their streaming audio at the same time. It is possible to monitor volumes in real time thanks to the real time vu-metres.

With this app it is possible to make a wireless stereo connection between two Altea/Vantec systems.

System software update and user presets creation are exclusive features of the DASlink app.

I love my DAS Vantec 12a speakers and I want to love this app, but there are some drawbacks. Connection is easy, controls are intuitive, but here are the drawbacks: when streaming music, quite often the audio starts at an extremely loud level despite the volume set on the mobile device. This often happens when changing songs from one playlist to another. Then at times, the streaming stops for no reason I can determine. The second issue is this: if I set the parameters manually in the speakers they remain as set whenever I power the speakers off and then back on; however as soon as I connect the app, the HPF setting resets to off even though my saved preset has it set to 100hZ.
