User Reviews

tiReader is a feature rich reader praised for customization, collections, table of contents and easy importing with cross device syncing, plus a free ad free experience. However, it suffers from a non intuitive UI, seeming lack of ongoing updates, and themes and data issues after updates. Overall powerful when it works but maintenance appears limited.
Pros
  • Highly customizable reading experience (font size, spacing, colors and night mode)
  • Strong library organization with collections and sorting
  • Table of contents, clickable links, and easy bookmarks
  • Easy importing and cross device syncing via Files/iCloud and Google Drive
  • Free and ad free
Cons
  • Poor UI/UX with hard to discover menus and difficult access to features
  • Appears abandoned with limited ongoing updates and compatibility issues
  • Theming and night mode often broken or not working as expected
  • Clunky import flow with no bulk import and persistent popups
  • Data/library mismatches or missing books after updates

I like the reader. My only complaint is getting to the menu. It’s not obvious and difficult to trigger it to open.

I can connect using a browser, I can connect using Chunky, but this app just tells me the connection is not opds. Except it is. The server IS up and running. Don’t like Chunky but it seems like the only app that knows networking.
