With Antenna Point, locating TV transmitting towers and aiming your antenna is straightforward. The map shows towers, their distances from your home, and 35-, 50-, and 70-mile coverage patterns to guide you toward the best direction for indoor, attic, or outdoor antennas.

Tap a tower to view the main network call sign (ABC, NBC, CBS, FOX, PBS, The CW, ION, MeTV, and more). The built-in channel list lets you preview available stations in your area. Follow the step-by-step instructions to scan your TV and adjust your antenna for the strongest reception. Antenna Point is praised for its simple, fast interface and usefulness in aiming antennas and locating towers, with quick results. However, users repeatedly report critical UX flaws: the map frequently auto-resets zoom, the compass is unreliable, tower data can be incomplete in some areas, and there are no labels or filters to easily map towers to stations.

Pros

Easy to use interface for antenna aiming.
Very accurate for finding out-of-market stations.

Cons

Zooming frequently snaps back to the default view or cannot zoom in, making it hard to inspect towers.
Compass is inaccurate (off by 90–180 degrees) and cannot be calibrated.
In some cases no towers are shown or data is missing, reducing usefulness.
Lacks station labels and filtering, making it hard to identify which tower serves which channel.

Recent reviews

The app works fine for identifying local antennas. But when you try to punch in to get a closer look at the antennas, it immediately snaps back to full screen view. Makes it impossible to use.

Useful if I could actually zoom in on the map without it zooming out automatically after a couple seconds. Should be possible to make this improvement.
