User Reviews
Pros
- Depth-of-field and bokeh editing controls that work well for portraits.
- Strong portrait-focused toolset with features that many users find useful.
- Fast loading and smooth performance on iPhone devices.
- The iPhone version reportedly has amazing features.
Cons
- High subscription price and ongoing payments required to access core features (e.g., around $100/year or $10/week).
- Removal of many free features and the shift to paid access for functionality that used to be free.
- Inconsistent feature parity between iPhone and iPad (e.g., iPad missing features like the brush tool).
- Inability to save/export photos under the free plan and the appearance of watermarking or save restrictions while using the subscription model.

Something has gone wrong with this app, which I remember thinking was quite reputable some years ago. But I was astonished on latest download to find it absolutely crippled for use, unless I paid —no kidding, — $9.99 every WEEK. You read that correctly, every WEEK. Why would a developer have such a pricing as their default? I don’t know, but one possibility is that their new business plan includes hoping that people forget to cancel their weekly subscription after the first few days. Just a guess. (Yes, there is a $99 per year subscription plan, but nothing reasonable by the month. And $99 per year is also an astonishingly high price for an app that isn’t handling your entire workflow.) All in all, this bizarre pricing makes me worry that the developer has perhaps been bought out by some predatory firm. I don’t know that to be the case, I am just suspicious that where there is smoke there is fire. So I will not give them any of my data, or any access privileges on my phone.

Potentially it’s gonna work great hardly get started.Once you figure out how to use and fine-tune the fields of blur, you can really make it look perfect.
The iPad version is really giving me problems. I definitely recommend doing some tutorials.
