User Reviews

Users praise Tagalog Learning for its ease of use, effective vocabulary building through repetition, and clear pronunciation guidance. It helps with real-life communication and is seen as a solid Duolingo-like option. Mixed feedback exists on access: some users dislike timer-based limits and premium paywalls, wishing for more free content, while others appreciate the timer. Some reviews also note language coverage and advanced features could be expanded. Overall, a beginner-friendly tool with room for more content and features.
Pros
  • Easy to learn and easy to use with clear visuals and pronunciation.
  • Strong vocabulary-building through repetition and quick recall of words.
  • Helpful for pronunciation, spelling, and how to say words.
  • Supports real-life communication; good starting point to talk with family.
  • Viewed as a strong alternative to Duolingo with comparable quality.
Cons
  • Free access is restricted by a timer and a premium paywall, limiting practice.
  • Desire for more free content and fewer paywalls.
  • Language availability and advanced features are limited (missing things like typing or conversations).

Mainly free you get five minutes a day to practice then, quiz on the topics. This app is great on making sure you’re learning what they’re teaching. It uses repetitive pictures with the same word every time and you have to pick the word that leads to that picture or spell it out. I’d say it’s really really good free app.
