Neocom II was a long-time go-to EVE Online companion, valued for its usefulness when functional. Today it largely fails due to login/authentication errors (invalid_scope/SSO changes), broken APIs and Steam integration, and a lack of updates. With unresponsive support and no maintenance, the app is effectively abandoned and not usable for current EVE Online, prompting calls for removal from the App Store.

Pros

Was a long-time go-to app for a very long time.
Great when it worked and provided value for EVE Online accounts.
Was a useful EVE companion app for linking/managing accounts when functional.

Cons

Persistent login/authentication failures (invalid_scope errors, cannot login, SSO changes).
App abandoned/no updates in years and no longer works for current EVE changes.
APIs/Steam integration not functioning; overall service reliability broken.
Poor/no developer support (emails bounce, unresponsive).
Stability issues such as crashes on launch.
