MemScreen

MemScreen is an application designed for healthcare professionals to assess memory in individuals with cognitive complaints. It provides a first-line screening test for verbal episodic memory.

The test is self-administered by the individual, under the supervision of a physician or healthcare professional.

A total score ≤ 29/34 or a memory score ≤ 9/12 may warrant further evaluation, depending on the clinical context. A normal test result does not exclude early-stage memory impairment. This application is not a substitute for a full medical cognitive assessment.

Testing is performed anonymously. Physicians can review previous session results in the “History” section.

This application was conceived by Prof. Julien Dumurgier and developed by the Cognitive Neurology Center, Lariboisière–Fernand Widal Hospital, AP-HP, Université Paris Cité.
