Make 3D Photos

3D-o-Mat is a simple iPhone and iPad app to take 3D photos that you can view with Red/Cyan 3D glasses (sold separately).

To make a 3D Photo

Point your device at the subject and tap the left camera button.
Move your device slightly to the right and tap the right camera button.
Look at the photo with Red/Cyan 3D Glasses with the cyan lens on your left eye and the red lens on your right. If your glasses have the red lens on the left, you can swap the red/cyan sides using the info button menu on the bottom right of the screen.

You can save them to your photo album or share them with other apps and on social media sites such as Facebook and Twitter.

So this does not read 3D as I think people are expecting. It creates 3D from the colors provided on the screen, you have to take a picture, it saves the photo to the screen and then you line the photo back up with the item you snapped a photo of. And it will image the item you scanned as a layer to create a 3D effect. I think it is a really neat and exciting feature, but I did not find it useful for the reason I needed it for. I think what would offer a greater experience to this app, is to code a border around the image by scanning the object and then creating a feature where the user can snap a photo. And then create a way where you can save the photos in a collage then merge them to create the 3D image. And also to add a way to create a video in 3D.
