• Enroll in benefits: Elect your benefits during open enrollment or when you are first hired.

• Update your benefits: Make changes to your benefits outside of open enrollment for certain life qualifying events.

• View your benefits ID cards: Be able to quickly show proof of insurance to doctors and care providers.

• View your benefits coverage details: Have the details of your benefits at your fingertips so you can verify your plan details and know who is covered.

• Email proof of insurance: Be able to quickly email your proof of insurance to a doctor if you don’t have the physical card.

• Review your pay stubs: View your 3 most recent pay stubs to track income, taxes, and deductions.

• Review your W2: View and download your most recent W2 so that you can easily access it when you are doing your taxes.

• Upload supporting documentation: In order to complete enrollments, be able to upload or take pictures of supporting documentation.

• Manage your personal information: Keep your personal information like your mailing address up to date.

To use the KTBSonline app you must have a KTBSonline account through your employer.

However, major downsides are authentication hassles (email codes and password-change prompts, with no biometric sign-in) and the sense that the app is not a true standalone app but just a browser wrapper. These issues, along with occasional site reliability concerns, reduce the overall value for users.

Pros

Easy to use / user-friendly and intuitive navigation.

Helpful features for benefits management (enrollment, sharing information with providers, lost card).

Cons

Frequent authentication friction: you must enter an email verification code every time, with reports of password-change prompts; no biometric login.
Not a real standalone app: mainly a web wrapper that opens the website or Safari window, offering little extra value.

Recent reviews

You have to enter an email code every time you go on this app. It’s supposed to remember you, but never does. And good luck trying to easily use password manager to sign in.

The app needs biometric login

Every. Single. Time. I log in to KTBS’s site it prompts me to change my password. Their authentication is flawed, making their whole site and this app flawed. Fix it.
