This is hands down my favorite music app. The patches are amazing, and I bought every pack. The UI is second to none, seriously. The arpeggiator is a million-dollar feature, and the variations and tweaks are truly unique. I seriously can’t rave enough about this app and everything it includes. That said, I’ve had two issues. One is a bummer, and the other is something that genuinely makes me sad. First, it has basically no MIDI options. It does support MIDI, and I can get MIDI devices to interact with some things in the app, but there’s no way to assign controls or really customize anything. It also crashes whenever I use its AU function. Second, I’d love to be able to use it on my M3 or M4 Macs. It crashes there too. I’ve been trying, and I’ll keep trying, to work around that, but it’s still an issue. Even with those problems, for jamming on the iPad and staying inside the app, it’s perfect. There has never been a better experience in my life for that. If Reason Studios is still around, I beg you to please look into these issues. The joy and happiness this app gave me during a very dark time in my life is something I could not have gotten anywhere else.
