Walking Month

The official companion of the Walking Month competition.

Welcome to Walking Month, the competition that encourages you to walk and have fun with your friends, family or work buddies, while making a good deed!

The app enables you to register into the competition, create a team to compete with against other teams, track your and your team's progress. The competition lasts for one month, when the teams are trying to take as many steps as possible during regular, daytoday activities. Leave your car at home, take your loved one for a walk in the park or use stairs instead of elevators: the possibilities are countless, but every step you take will count!

About Walking Month

Walk for a good cause - every year! Walking Month promotes an active lifestyle and involves thousands of people in solving a community issue. Walking Month combines physical health and the healthy habit of being active and engaged members of the community. Walking Month is a non-profit initiative of Betfair Romania Development, started internally for the company’s own team and, since 2015, open to the entire community.

Steps and Distance are automatically counted using Apple HealthKit services and used to power the competition, providing relevant statistics for participants and teams.
