User Reviews
Pros
- Timer is strong and tailored for speedcubing, with useful averages and event timing.
- Extensive algorithm library and learning tools (F2L focus, practice cases, notes).
- Wide range of events supported and flexible practice options.
- Free version offers many algorithms and features close to premium; Pro unlocks more content and removes ads.
- User-friendly interface and smooth navigation.
Cons
- Ads and premium gating disrupt usage; unskippable ads and unclear unlocks for Pro.
- Algorithm accuracy issues and outdated content; some algorithms are wrong or do not auto-update.
- Data reliability and management concerns, including lost times and difficulties exporting/importing records or deleting data.
- Missing clock scramble generator feature.
- Learn/Alg visuals sometimes fail to load (case images) within the Learn and Algorithm sections.

I can’t believe this is free it is way easier to manage than cs timer, and I love how it gives an average of a certain amount of solves. In less that an hour I went from averaging 13+ on 2x2 to sub-10. The only thing wrong about it is I doesn’t have notation for cubes like the skewb, pyraminx, and other cubes like that. But I love the alg of the day, it’s actually really good.
P.S, I think for beginners you should show that white is on top and green is in front for scrambles.

There are plenty of great alg trainers on the web browser, but not on iOS. This is the best option I’ve found so far
If you use a different alg than recommended for a particular set, you can update it to your preference, and rotate the example image if you start with a different orientation. The app is smart enough to use the updated alg in is trainer, so the provided training scrambles are correct. This is awesome, it’s just as powerful as GAN’s trainer, way less janky, and it provides scrambles for you.
There are some improvements I’d love to see:
- Allow users to add multiple algs per case, so we can train different AUFs or different orientations
- Allow users to add their own cases full-stop. These wouldn’t have images, but it would still be better than nothing
- Add edge stickers to the PLL example images, to make recognition easier (bars vs headlights)
- More training options, like tracking times and solves. So users can be presented with their worst cases more often
- allow users to create training sets. So I can pick 10 algs to focus on for the day. Let users pick from any of the provided algs, not just one set at a time
- way harder, but smart cube integration would be great

this app doesn’t stop the timer after tapping the screen and i’ve gotten zero good scrambles from it. i get a bad one every now and then but it’s every single scramble
