I like this app because I am able to use it as my library card to checkout books. I don’t like carrying a huge set of keys, so this app is convenient for my library card, and to see due dates or renew books in the app. I’ve made the mistake of not hitting the renew button and returning a book thinking someone requested it, but there is a big renew button when you review the books checked out.

There is no option for searching by name or by author. The top bar says search, but it’s a repeat of the scan procedure , meeting you need the book’s barcode. This app looked like a good improvement over the previous version, but it is useless if you’re reading a book review and then wanna search for the book and request it. I’ve alerted the staff at the Troy Public Library. I don’t know where else to report this but it’s a huge and critical oversight/mistake.
