User Reviews

Users praise the app’s breadth of on-device network tools, metric accuracy, and built-in SSH, plus free-to-try access. But many reviews center on the shift to subscription pricing with daily quotas, removal of grandfathered full features, and paywalls for basic tools. Ads and privacy concerns, plus occasional reliability problems after updates, are common complaints. Overall, the app remains valuable for some users, but pricing changes and stability issues are frequent sticking points.
Pros
  • Broad set of on-device network tools with detailed, accurate metrics for WiFi and cellular networks
  • Integrated SSH client for remote access
  • Convenient mobile tool that lets you troubleshoot networks without a laptop
  • Free-to-try model with daily allocations enables evaluation before subscribing
Cons
  • Transition to a subscription model with quotas and loss of previously purchased full features
  • Paywalls/quotas on core tools (ping, traceroute, nslookup) and concerns about losing grandfathered access
  • Ads for paying users and privacy concerns related to advertising libraries
  • Reliability and compatibility issues after updates (crashes, SSH profile restore problems, device identification issues)
  • Additional feature limitations (e.g., IPv6 handling issues, reverse DNS limitations)

Please add ping, traceroute, nslookup and speed test to Apple Watch. Thanks!

This app used to be very useful until “free” limits of common network utilities were put in place, and you are required to pay a subscription fee, there is no one time purchase. No thanks. I’ll find another tool elsewhere.
